ULFA invites NDFB for talks

Guwahati : ULFA Chairman Arabinda Rajkhowa through a statement on Tuesday invited Bodo rebel organisation, NDFB for dialogues to diffuse the tensions between them on several issues and especially on the tribal policy and the the socio-economic approach.

A few days back NDFB chied, Nabla Doimary had expressed his worriedness over the ULFA stand. Rajkhowa further commented that they were clear on their stand of indigenous people all along.

Nalbari : Suspected ULFA militants kidnapped Bhagawan Das, a DRDA junior engineer from Chamata chowk near Belsor in Nalbari district around 7.20 pm on Saturday.
