IAS coaching at Gauhati University

A coaching for IAS (main) will be held from June 15 at Pre- Examination Centre of Gauhati University. The deputy director of the centre Dr.Sanjay Kumar Dutta said in a release that the coaching programme is organized especially for students of the Assamese optional besides the General Studies.Aspiring students may contact with the centre.

However, i have a very limited access to assamese study materials being staying in Bangalore. The ensuing Assam assembly election will be held in April-May of next year. Amidst speculation it was declared by the chief election commissioner of India Naveen Chawla at Guwahati on June 4. A group of 1200 Reang refugees has returned back to home, Mizoram from Kanchanpur of north Tripura after thirteen years of displacement. Union Home minister P Chidambaram today expressed his satisfaction over the law and order situation of Assam. Two hardcore anti-talk faction of NDFB cadres were killed at Misarai in Sonitpur district of Assam today May 24 in an encounter with the security forces. A pistol, two mobile phones and two bicycles were recovered from the slain ultras. They were not identified yet.Another cadre of this militant was killed yesterday in same district. Four rhino poachers were killed on May 21 at the Kaziranga National Park in an encounter with forest guards. The encounter took place at Mihirmukh in the Kohara range during the time of a daily vigil by the guards. One .303 rifle was recovered from them.
