NDFB attempts to strikes back in Udalguri district

Acting on a specific tip off, a joint team of 315 Field Regiment (KARGIL) and Dist Police of Udalguri discovered a powerful IED weighing 6.5 Kg planted by anti talk faction of NDFB at 11.50am at Bhuankhat under Kalaigaon police station in Udalguri district.It was planted on railway track at village Bhuyakhat between Tangla and Khoirabari near Bhergaon.All trains in the train route were accordingly halted. On recovery, the area was swiftly cordoned off by the troops.Army BD team of Red Horns Division was called forthwith and the IED was neutralized. Commendable action by troops of the army averted a major disaster on the railwayy track.Sources said that it could be the attempt of the ULFA and NDFB anti talk faction to express their identiy.
