BPF and Congress sweep BTC poll in Udalguri District


Hagrama Mahilari led BPF has swept second BTC general election in Udalguri District claiming 7 seats out of total 10 constituency in Udalguri district, while its ally Congress bagged 2 and UDPF-1 seats respectively.Following are the Constituency wise results.

A baby python measuring 1.5 meter and weighing 2 kg was rescued at Sonajuli village near Dimakuchi in Udalguri district recently on July 18 at 11 am. The man elephant conflict in Udalguri district has taken a new turn when two more people had lost their lives in last two days at Hatigarh and Orangajuli.
