The country's top industrialists and bankers are assembling in Guwahati as the the principal city of the north eastern region hosts Assam investment advisory board on Tuesday. Convened by Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi the crucial meet is expected to be attended by Ratan Tata and RB Mittal. The crucial meet is set to discuss the investment scenario in the state.

India Against Corruption on Saturday demands a thorough probe into the attack Akhil Gogoi. The party further alleged role of a section of local Congress party workers in the incident.In a statement issued on Saturday, the organisation said that Gogoi was attacked by a group of Youth Congress activists at the instance of Agriculture and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Nilamani Sen Deka.According to the organization, Congress party is now desperately indulging in hooliganism through its goons.
