Army arrArmy arrest NDFB cadre at Tangla

Acting on a tip off, troops from Barrongajuli Camp of 315 Field Regiment (KARGIL) arrested Bipul Ramsiary, NDFB 3rd Bn cadre from Tangla on February 8.The press release of 315 Field Regiment ( Kargil)says that Bipul Ramsiary was wanted in several cases of extortion and kidnappings in Udalguri District and had been actively working for the NDFB anti talks faction.According to army sources ,the arrested person admitted his role in extortion and kidnappings racket on behalf of NDFB 3rd Bn in the areas of Tangla, Paneri, Bhergaon & Dimakuchi. A country made pistol was also recovered from the individual. The individual has been handed over to Tangla police for further investigation.
