Photo of an unusual four-storied "Bhelleghar" constructed by villagers at Lathapara, near Naamkhola in Darrang district which had attracted large number of people for a few days till January 15.

Firstly I want to thanks the villagers of Lathapara and the young boy who created this Bhelaghar. I appreciate you that this is a nice work. I live in guwahati in concrit jungle but i am a lover of Meji. I create in this year Meji and Bhelaghar with my friends. In our locality there have no sufficient bamboo. I hope please you will create this type of Bhelaghar. Thanks

It is a very very appreciable work of the villagers who make this Bhelaghar on Bhogali Bihu.

A five day community yoga camp was organized at Sri Bhagawat Mandir premises Kalaigaon from 24 to 28 October 2009.The camp was organized by Bigyananda Yogashram Sangha,Kalaigaon branch in association with central committee of the Sangha, Mangaldai. Non availability of MIL (Hindi) question papers have caused unpleasant situation at HSLC Test centre situated at Kalaigaon Higher Secondary School on the morning of October 26.Moreover, students appearing for MIL (Assamese) had been served with question papers containing 90 marks instead of 100 marks.
