Serial blasts rock Nalbari: 4 feared killed

At least four persons feared killed and more than 25 injured when three powerful bombs exploded in Nalbari town on Sunday. The first one blast took place at around 10 in the morning near the police station. The bomb was planted at a bicycle where three persons injured. This was followed by the second one blast 20 minutes later at the same spot where two persons feared killed and several others injured. Security forces are fanning in the area and the injured persons are being rushed to the hospital. It may be recalled that Assam police had inputs that a group of hardcore ULFA rebels has managed to sneak into Assam to strike before the protest day falling on November 27.

Insurgency related terrorism will go on and on and on in Assam. Not only because insurgents won't go for peace talks, but because all political parties benefit from insurgency. This is a billion dollar business and insugents, politicians, and allied people benefit. Infact, it is a new Insurgency is a new sector of profession just like Corporate sector, Health sector, Education sector etc. in Assam.

Both NSCN factions in Nagaland are in talk to regroup for restoration of peace in the state. Talking to a private TV channel on Monday over telephone, NSCN Khaplang home minister Wanting Naga said the top guns of both the faction recently met at New Land in Dimapur to discuss the regrouping bid. He further said it will help restore permanent peace in the north eastern state adding that the incidents of violence is decreasing after the meeting. He however, denied the emergence of new militant outfit in the state.

Three people were killed in two separate incidents in the city on Monday in Survey and Lakhi Mandir areas respectively.According to information, a speeding truck hit an auto rickshaw in the Survey area at around in the morning, leaving Ibo Pishak Singh dead.
