GPC Media Fellows name declared

The name of the media fellows, selected for the fellowship programme to study the issues of climate change and disaster risk reduction has been declared. Sponsored by ActionAid (Northeast) and conducted by Guwahati Press Club the fellowships have been awarded to Manoranjan Bori (Dainik Janambhumi), Sudip Sharma (Sangbad Lahari) and Kanta Kaveri Sonowal (The Sentinel).


The fellows will receive a grant of Rs 10,000/- for the month long feloooship program, under which they will study and report about the impact of climate change in Northeast India and also probable ways for disaster risk reduction in the region.
