Ten persons were killed in two separate tragic road mishap in Assam during the last 24 hours .The first one incident took place in Sonitpur district where 6 persons died and two others seriously injured. The incident took place a tailer fell into a deep george after the break of a bridge. The it took place at Belisiri Bridge on the National Highway 52 at around on later Thursday midnight. The vehicle was on its way to Guwahati from Biswanath Chariali. All the six persons died on the spot and the remaining two injured persons were rushed to the hospital. But the bodies of the six persons were recovered on Friday.
In yet another incident four other persons were killed and 20 others have been left injured a tragic road mishap that took place at Duramari bridge at near Basugaon in Chirang district on Thursday. The incident took place as a vehicle in which the ill fated persons were traveling fell into the river after the breach of a wooden bridge in the evening . Three passengers died on the spot.
