City Police in a major break through managed to nabbed a trained cadre of ULFA from Betkuchi area of Guwahati on August 11. Sources revealed that the ULFA cader belongs to 27 No. battalion and his name is Amarendra Deka alias Udipta Saikia alias Upen Saikia. Chandmari Police has registered a case No. 271/09 and produced the ULFA cadre today before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup. The CJM remanded the cadre to Police custody for further investigation.
