The matter had come to light only when people of the locality complained to the BDO, Kalaigaon about non completion of the work. When investigated the matter Senior BDO,Kalaigaon found that the money was not withdrawn by Prakash Chouhan. Further investigation revealed that one imposter Baraka Marandi posing as Prakash Chouhan withdrew the amount. When contacted ,BDO Hemanta Pegu told this scribe that he was misguided by the imposter. He also told that FIR had been lodged against the culprits and the matter had been reported to the DC ,SP of Udalguri / Darrang districts.
