Poll battered AGP chief offers to resign
Caught in a simmering political temperature, the poll battered AGP president Chandra Mohan Patowary, his working president Phani Bhushan Cahudhuiry along with a few others have offered to resign on Thursday. The high voltage drama has come up when the party's steering committee was discussing the party's poll debacle at the Ambari based party head quarters in the evening. Several defeated candidates in the meeting alleged inadequate help they received from the party MLAs and some other top ranked leaders. Caught in a Catch-22, the Patowary and Chaudhury offered to resign forcing Chaudhury to follow the suit
