ULFA targets Tea Co vehicle in Udalguri

Amid the pre poll heat and dust, suspected ULFA militants lobbed a powerful hand grenade at a tea company truck in Udalguri district on Tuesday.

According to information, the truck owned by a Tata Tea estate escaped any casualty after it was targetted by the rebels. Police said it a handiwork of ULFA which has been demanding money from the manager of the Hatigarh tea estate of Tata group in the last week.
