Bail for Ripun Bora in Danial case

Gohpur MLA and former education minister Ripun Bora has been granted bail in the sensational Danial Topno murder case as he appeared before a Chief Judicial Magistrate court in Guwahati on Wednesday.

According to information, the court, fixed the date of next hearing in the case on March 16. Notably, the Central Bureau of Investigation, probing the sensational murder case implicated the former minister.

He was allegedly involved in the murder of Daniel Topno, the district president of the All Assam Tea Tribe Students’ Union that took place on September 2 in 2000.
