AGP, BJP to announce the candidates' list on Mar 5
The BJP would announce the list of its candidate for Assam at the election committee in Delhi on Thursday.
Talking to www. assamtimes, senior leaders of the party said BJP Assam unit president Ramen Deka is leaving to Delhi on Tuesday to help the party heavyweights give final touch to the list.
On the other hand, Deka is scheduled to participate in the AGP-BJP crucial meeting on Wednesday being convened to finalise the seat sharing deal for the upcoming Lok sabha polls. The AGP leaders/ meeting with BJP chief Rajnath Singh on Sunday evening failed to arrive at a consensus and decided to meet agaon on Wednesday.
