Another NBCC officer in CBI net

Yet another NBCC top ranked officer in CBI dragnet. The country's premier investigating agency has arrested NBCC assistant general manager P K Mittal from Shillong in connection to the scam in the construction of Assam's road and bridges. The vital lead was received from the confessional statement of B C Dhiman, who was caught red handed by CBI recently while he was allegedly trying to bribe one of its officials in Guwahati.

According to information, four more officers of the Central government undertaking would be arrested in this connection. Notably, CBI has been probing onto the allegations of a scam in the construction of road and bridges by the National Building Construction Corporation.
