Independence Day Celebrated with Cultural Splendor in Nazira

The 78th Independence Day was observed today with great enthusiasm in Nazira sub-division today. The main event was held at the Nazira District Sports Association grounds, where Additional Commissioner and Acting Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ayush Jain, unfurled the National Flag as the chief guest.

The day was marked by a vibrant display of cultural performances, including Bhortal, Tai Ahom, Bihu, and Sat Bhani dances, which captivated the audience.

In recognition of their outstanding contributions to the sub-division, 31 individuals from various fields were honored by the sub-divisional administration.

The event showcased the spirit of patriotism and unity among the people of Nazira.
