On February 7th, the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Assam Don Bosco University School of Technology hosted an Alumni Talk at the Azara campus conference hall. The head of the department, Dr. Buljit Buragohain, welcomed the students and felicitated the event's resource person, Abhijeet Boruah, who is an alumnus of the department.
The talk was attended by students of the Mechanical Engineering Department and most of the faculty members. Mr. Abhijit Boruah, who graduated from the department in 2017, is currently serving as a Regional Maintenance Executive in Gujarat for ITC India, where he began working as a GET in 2017.
During the talk, Mr. Boruah shared his insights on the various segments of ITC's products, processes, and units, and provided information on current job opportunities and how to become a job creator. He also gave a detailed account of the interview process he underwent during his selection at ITC. The session was interactive, allowing for student engagement and participation.
The event was jointly coordinated by Harajit Das and Leena H. Nemade, and Pallav Gogoi offered a vote of thanks.
