Guwahati: The Indian Medical Association has strongly criticized the COVID19 care and management in Assam and suggested the government to formulate measures taking the medical experts into confidence.
In a letter to health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, IMA's state unit alleged a number of anomalies in the system which why, the number of infected doctors and health workers has gone up on every passing day.
The association further questioned the government's intention on the violation of ICMR guidelines for home treatment of the asymptomic patients.
