487 at 6 Kokrajhar quarantine centres

KOKRAJHAR: Around 487 persons are being kept in the six quarantine centres set up in Kokrajhar district under strict observation with proper medical check up.

The centres have been set up by district administration to check those persons who are coming from neighbouring states towards Assam in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak.

Four of the six quarantine centres were set up at Srirampur itself along the inter state border with West Bengal,one each at Fakiragram and  Kokrajhar to stop the spread of the Coronavirus in the district.
