The Rajasthan police have denied link between the serial blast in Guwahati and Jaipur. After a careful on the spot study in Guwahati, they are confirm that no link could be established between the perpetrators of the two incidents.
A high level team of experts led by Deputy Superintendent of Police was dispatched to Assam was rushed to Assam to ascertain possible similarities between the Jaipur serial bomb blasts and Assam serial explosions. They have returned with the assessment that as per the investigation there is no similarity between the incidents in Assam, which took place last month, and those in Jaipur in May, and the explosives in the blasts in the northeastern state were of a different nature. During their visit, they collected the samples of the explosives used in the blast, took the photos of the sites and collected the information about the people involved in the blast.

The officials of the Peoples'Welfare Forum lodged an FIR at Basistha police station against chief minister Tarun Gogoi and APSC chairman Rakesh Paul charging the duo to have taken bribe from a section of candidates to ensure their success in the competitive examination.
