athletics the 1st Inter-
Udalguri District School Atheletics Meet-2018 was organized here at
Tangla Stadium ground in
Udalguri district on Saturday. The event organized by
Tangla Sports Association was witnessed widespread participation of nearly 300 athletes from 25 different schools of
Udalguri district. The
sports competitions included Running Race,Long Jump,High Jump,Javelin,Discuss,Shotput Throw,
Rally among others were held for both Boys and Girls categories. The opening ceremony was attended by former Panery MLA,Kumud

On the ocassion of International Womens' Day an awareness programme on 'Legal Rights of Women' was organized at Tangla College conference hall in joint collaboration of Tangla Women Cell and IQAC cell today.Women cell convenor Sabita Mazumdar Kalita,Principal Dr.Prasen Daimari spoke on the ocassion. With the message of ushering peace and prosperity and promoting brotherhood and secularism among the mankind a two day long Yagya of Sri Sri Maharudra was held at 1 No. Batabari village on the outskirts of Tangla town. The new school building of Arunodoi Academy school, one of the pioneering educational institutions of Tangla was inagurated by Jagadish Sarkar EM BTC on Wednesday.
