Kokrajhar: BPF top guns hunkered down in Kokeajhar on Friday a day after the cabinet expansion where the leaders were not happy for taking away forest portfolio from Pramilarani Brahma.
Chaired by BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary at Bathou complex the meeting discussed the future course of action where all top leaders including Pramila Rani Brahma, Rihan Daimary,Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary attended.
Mohilary said that BPF party was satisfied with ministry allotment to the BPF leaders during the Cabinet expansion that took place on Thursday. He has claimed that his party was working to the welfare of the common masses.He said that BTC administration is holding Bwisagu Festival on May 6 next to be held in Kokrajhar.
Minister Pramila Rani Brahma said that she was upset with the ministry shifting to the other ministry in the cabinet. 'I didn't do any corruption whenever I discharged my departments for the welfare of the state. I am so sad as forest department has been shifted to the other minister'.
'I will try to carry best service to the state whatever alloted deptt to me during the cabinet expansion. I am not satisfied with my new ministry assignment which took planet on Thursday ',she said.
Minister Rihan Daimary emphasized good services towards state's welfare said that the state saw suitable food management.
'I did my level best during my tunure as food and civil supply deptt besides tried to reduce price hikes in the state. But, the ministry was shifted to other minister on Thursday',he said. 'I shall try to carry out allotted departments through whole heartedly, which are assigned me in the cabinet expansion',he said.

October 14, 2025 - Students from Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti School emerged victorious in the Assam State finale of the Wild Wisdom Global Challenge, defeating competitors from 109 other schools in what organizers called one of the most competitive rounds in the program's 18-year history.
