Stunning faces on fake note circulation

UDALGURI:
The fake note racket still remains active in the state even after strict vigil across the state. The Udalguri police claimed to have busted a major fake currency note printing racket from Azara of Guwahati and arrested five persons recently who in their confessional statements have revealed some stunning information.



. The gang members were apprehended with a Mahindra Scorpio vehicle . Identified as Krishna Sonar(36) of Tinisukia,Muzibur Rahman(35) of Azara under Kamrup,Pulin Dutta(55) of Hatigaon under Kamrup Aarjul Ali(23) of Azara and Firoz Ali of Boko under Kamrup,
 they prepared special pigments to be  applied in A4 size papers to produce fake notes,and then circulated these among commoners.


They have been booked vide Udalguri PS case no. 90/18 under IPC sections 489B/489D/489C/420. According to sources , 27 original notes of 500 denomination were recovered from their possession worth Rs.13,500. 


They had struck a deal to  provide Fake Indian Currency notes worth 1 crore in exchange of original currency notes of Rs.25 lakhs with a person when the police got the tip-off and swooped on them.
