Kuladhar Saikia new DGP

GUWAHATI: Senior police officer Kuladhar Saikia will take over as director general of police on Monday. The special director general Saikia will take charge from Mukesh Sahay who is going on retirement on that day.

Saikia, the 1985 batch IPS officer is also an award winning Assamese litterateur who received the coveted Sahitya Akademy Award.
