Girl raped inside auto in Nagaon
RAHA: Yet another rape incident in Nagaon sends no less shock and sensation across the state.
The victim hails from Jagiroad whom a neighbour took away to the central Assam town and rape inside an auto before dumping her at the Mukut Sarma Road in broad day light.
The eyewitnesses rescued the girl and the police have registered a case. A team of Nagaon police is looking for Moinul who allegedly took away the girl and raped inside the vehicle.

An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Raha police station committed suicide by shooting himself at his official residence on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Subhash Gogoi posted at Raha police station in May 21,2015. The body of the 45-year-old assistant sub-inspector was found lying in a pool of blood on his bed at around 12.10 pm. Two persons were injured when suspected militants lobbed a grenade on a hardware shop named Khatuwala hardware at Raha chariali on National Highway 37 on Tuesday evening police said. The suspected ultras hurled a grenade on the shop at 6.45 p.m, police said. Police said the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the entrance of the shop causing splinter injuries to two laboures of the shop.
