Blood donation camp in Namrup

Namrup: A blood donation camp drew huge response when  Bharat Vikash Porikhad , Lions club Namrup and Gorkha Student Union  and Assam Medical College Hospital jointly organized  at  Mini PHC Namrup on Sunday.

Around 30 people  have donated  blood in this camp . One of the donators, Kripa Shankar said that  , "I am feeling totally relax and happy.   I have donated my blood because blood donating helps in purifying our system and blood donating helps in giving life to other 2 people's in their necessities. "
People of Namrup heaped huge praises at the work of Gurkha Student Union Namrup .

NAMRUP: Army claimed to have apprehended a dreaded ULFA-I rebel a month after he unleashed a reign of terror by firing in Borhat tea garden. He was trapped on March 3. But army have disclosed it only on Sunday. GUWAHATI:The Assam higher secondary examination begins in science, arts and commerce streams across the state on Friday. Altogether 2,55, 697 candidates are appearing in the examination conducted by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council in 823 centres. In yet another initiatives that draws huge applause from the people, DAO division Army based in Sapekhati opened a classroom at  M V School Rangabam in Charaideo district on Wednesday.   Army officials, students and teachers along with their parents attended the brief function in the morning. The new classroom will be able to accommodate more than 150 students from the adjoining villages. Those who attended the brief function heaped praised on the initiative to facilitate the students in the entire area.    
NAMRUP: HSLC and AHM examinations get underway in Namrup along with other places across the state. Altogether 418 students have appeared in Namrup from eleven local schools. According to the officer in charge of the centre tight security is in place to ensure free and fair examination. The examination centre is under strict CCTV surveillance.
NAMRUP: Army’s DAO division camp based at Jaipur in Dibrugarh district opened a library in Tipling Gaon on Thursday. Namrup: Toklimara, a tiny hamlet in Charaideo district has reasons to heave a sigh of relief. The villagers have no word to say how they feel it after army’s Dao division organized a free medical camp on Tuesday. Organized by the Sapekhati based army camp, the medical camp evoked huge response when medical officer from Joypur Army camp attended more than 400 patients who received free counseling and medicines.
