HC to take Paul's bail plea on Friday

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati High Court will hear Rakesh Paul’s bail plea on Friday since the government has yet to submit the affidavit for hearing on Wednesday.

A division bench of the court which took up the bail plea of the arrested APSC chairman asked the authority to ensure the submission by Thursday.
 
Paul has been remanded to jail in a graft case pending with Bhangagarh police station where he allegedly demanded bribe from a candidate of an APSC interview.
