SHILLONG/KOHIMA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a day long visit to Nagaland and Meghalaya to campaign for the next week’s assembly polls. During his hurricane visit to the north eastern region, Modi is addressing four poll rallies in both the states where polling is slated for February 27.
Immediately after landing in Nagaland, Modi straightly left for Tuensang district to hold a poll rally where top BJP and NDPP leaders are attending the event. Then the Prime Minister is leaving for West Garo Hills district in Meghalaya to hold a rally two days after Congress president Rahul Gandhi held two huge rallies.
Modi is addressing the rally at Phulbari town two months after he began his campaign from here in December last year where he had also inaugurated the Shillong-Nongstoin-Tura highway.
