The police personel of the Dokmoka outpost on October 12, at around 6.45 am seized approximately 70 kg of ganja from a Diphu to Guwahati bound Karbi Anglong Autonomus Council (KAAC) bus. Police also arrested three persons, identified as Wilto Miju (17), Robert Mizu (32),both hails from Rengkai district of Manipur and Kishore Kumar Singh (40) of Imphal, in this connection. The team of police was lead by Khargeswar Bordoloi, in-charge of Dokmoka outpost.
Prominent Sikh leader and Delhi MLA Manjinder Sirsa expressed grave concern over the socio economic condition of the community in Assam.
