HSLC, AHM Exams get underway

GUWAHATI: Amid an unprecedented security bandobast, the High School Leaving Certificate Examination and High Madrasa Examinations 2018 begin on Friday across the state. Altogether 3,44,190 candidates have appeared in the HSLC examination  conducted by the Secondary Education Board of Assam at 852 centres. Of them 176,308 are female while 167,882 others are male.

  On the other hand, 5,225 female candidates are appearing in the AHM examination against 4,118 male students. All examination centres are under strict CCTV surveillance and the authorities have set up 34 evaluation zones across the State.
