GUWAHATI: Despite the much hyped watertight security, criminals keep unleashing terror among the Guwahati denizens in the form of killing, kidnapping, extortion and what not. Unidentified miscreants kidnapped the minor son of a city based contractor from the school triggering shock and sensation across the state on Monday.
According to police, Manvik Surana, the minor student of Kid Veda in Bhangagarh area was taken away by the abductors from the school premises in the name of his family members at 1.30 in the afternoon. The incident came to light when Manvik’s family members came to the school to lift him. A police team has been intensifying the searh operation in the nook and corner of the city. The abductors, however, have not so far reached the parents.
