Tragedy on Vijaya Dashami - 2 youths drown

In a tragic incident, today, 2 youths namely Rajiv Rajkumar aged 28 years and Hemanta Tantadai aged 23 years were drown while immersing the idol of Goddess Duraga in Doigrong river in Golaghat district. Till the time of sending this report the bodies are not recovered yet and necessary search operation is going on to find their bodies.

This is a very tragic incident and all the resident of Doiurung, Letekujan & Bokial are in deep sorrow. Till today the body of Hemanta could find out but no clue for Rajiv. However, with respect to to the demise soul, this is a live example of excessive drinking of alcoholic and out of control behavior in the name of Goddess Durga.
