GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Guwahati on Saturday to open the global investment summit in the premier north eastern city.
Modi is scheduled to arrive in Guwahati by 10 in the morning to be received by governor Jagdish Mukhi and chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal at the airport.
Then the prime minister would straightly leave for the Sarusajai Stadium where he would open the two days event with much fanfare and cultural extravaganza.
Towards the afternoon Modi is scheduled to fly back to the capital. Meanwhile, the city of Guwahati has dressed afresh where roads are wearing a beautiful look to welcome the top global investors from the country and abroad.
