Satra Mahasabha session to begin on Jan 26

 Kokrajhar: Preparations are afoot in Kokrajhar to hold the biennial conference of the Assam Satra Mahasabha at Rashmela ground from January 26 with 3 days colourful programme scheduled. Talking to www.assamtimes.org, Jitendra Nath Pradhani, president of the Assam Satra Mahasabha and Doneswar Goyary, BTC executive member and chairman of reception committee said the preparations have gathered momentum to make the event a success.

 

He said the delegates and participants from across the state are arriving in a day or two. The conference will discuss Satra Mahasabha's development and its working spirits towards building of healthy state in the three-day long programme.  On the concluding day of the conference on January 28 Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will grace as chief guest, BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary,Minister Naba Kumar Doley as guests on the occasion.
