Kokrajhar: Bodoland Territorial Council(BTC) chief Hagrama Mohilary laid 13 foundation stones for construction of developmental works under 5th Assam Finance Commission in Kajalgaon sub-division of Chirang district on Friday. Talking to the people at a programme, he said that BTC will get Rs. 315 crores in this year within January month under the commission for construction of various developmental works like construction of roads, RCC bridges, VCDC offices, cremation grounds, boundary walls etc in the region.
He said that the council was working for all round development and welfare of the common citizens in the region. He is laying the foundation stones in Baksa district on Saturday and Bijni sub-division of Chirang on January 24.
