Will Akhil be a viable alternative to BJP?

NEW DELHI: Akhil Gogoi is busy with floating a viable alternative BJP and Congress to help Assam and it's people get rid of misgovernance.

Addressing a press conference in the national capital on Wednesday, Gogoi said BJP is not at all s viable alternative to Congress. According to him, the BJP led governments both in Delhi and Dispur have been giving the people one after another blow. He called chief minister Sarbanabda Sonowal a traitor for the people of Assam.

"This government in Assam has done nothing and busy with only organizing festivals. It boasts of firmly dealing with corruption. But why it has failed to arrest Gautom Roy, Akon Bora. Let the Sonowal government put Ranjit Dutta behind the bars," said the peasant leader a day after he gave hint of a fresh alternative.

He further strongly criticised the government for the move to amend the Citizenship Bill to grant citizenship to the Hindu immigrants.
