Bangladeshi immigrant jailed in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar,Dec 11: Despite round-the-clock vigil, Bangladeshi immigrants keep coming from across the border without any hindrance. Kokrajhar police have arrested yet another immigrant after he was picked up by local residents in Duramari area in Koktajhar whom a local court sent to the jail on Monday.

Identified as Alamin Islam, the 19 year old immigrant driver told police that he came to the area by Rajdhani Express a couple of days back. He could not produce any identity proof before disclosing that he hailed from Kanai Bortola near Chari Chikka College, Muktagacha Satraisia, Muktagacha (PO) of Mymensingh district of  Bangladesh.
