A Body Builder named Subhankar Das of Lumding under Hojai district will be provided financial aid by an NGO Ajmal Foundation which honoured him on Saturday.
Das is in this profession since 2010, in the year 2012 he won gold medal in Mr. Assam competition, in 2013 he won Mr. Nagaon Championship , simultaneously in 2013 won Uttar Purvanchal title. But because of financial crisis, he was not able to prepare for the upcoming competition, so he contacted Ajmal foundation.
Subankhar Das will be presented a cheque of Rs.40,000 on 27th November by Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, Trustee of the Foundation in Guwahati.
Subankar said, "I will do my best in the upcoming Hojai District Championship to be held on 3rd December and Mr. Assam Competition to be held in Sibsagar on 16th and 17th December." He further said "I am very grateful to Ajmal Foundation for timely support."
