Five killed as vehicle collides head on bus

IMPHAL:Five people died and another sustained serious injury when the vehicle carrying them collided head on a bus in Thoubal district of Manipur on Saturday.

The incident took place on the Thoubal-Yarpai Road in the afternoon when six people including the bridegroom were on their way back to home after attending the wedding party.

Suddenly, the driver of the car was believed to have lost his control over his vehicle which collided head on a mini bus which was coming from the opposite direction.

Four persons including the bridegroom died on the spot while another succumbed to injuries at the hospital. Another injured is battling for life at the hospital.
