BTPP workers stage dharna in Kokrajhar
Hundreds of workers at the Bongaigaon Thermal Power Project(BTPP) under National Thermal Power Corportaion(NTPC) staged dharna seeking early solutions of various issue and grievances,which included sanction of minimum wage specially weekly holidays with pay, PF for the workers,enagged local youths as per the experienced who were worked earlier in BTPS with first priority.
The dharna was organised by Sramik Parishad Union, BTPS Salakati, which was started from 10 am for three-hour in front of the NTPC office complex at Salakati in Kokrajhar on Friday.

Security forces belonging to police and army, in a joint operation arrested a cadre of National Democratic Front of Boroland-Songbijit faction from Mainaguri area on Tuesday under Kachugaon PS in Kokrajhar district. The cadre was identified as Bipul Mushahary alias Bigrai Mushahary, 31, of Mohendrapur, was trained in 2011. The re-polling at 24-polling station at Kachugaon ME school under 28-Gossaigaon LAC was recorded of 88.15% poll and passed off peaceful, held on Sunday in tight security in Kokrajhar.
