Congress blocks road in Namrup

The Jeypore Block Congress Committee blocked the  Namrup-Jeypore road in protest against the alleged attempt to surrender plot in the name of Nagaland. 

Former Naharkatia MLA   Pranati Phukan who led the protest  said ," We are sad to have hrard that our Central Government have agreed to surrender our land for the Nagalim.”

Former minister Atuwa Munda said ," our Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal is going to harm the interest of Assam at the instance of the Centre who is all out to appease the Naga.”
