Three more officers likely to surrender

GUWAHATI:The more officers are believed to have been preparing to surrender before police probing the APSC scam where altogether 22 officers have already been arrested.

According to sources, Nishamoni Deka, Rumi Saikia and Rakesh Gupta are likely to surrender at any moment from now one week after they went underground.

Early in the morning, Mushalpur circle officer Raharshi Sen Deka surrendered before the police at Kahilipara in Guwahati to be immediately arrested.

Later in the day, he would be produced before the special judge who remanded other 20 officers to 14 days police custody.
