Threatening e-mailer held in Shillong

The Shillong police have apprehended the person, who allegedly sent a death threat via e-mail to senior BJP leader L K Advani. The man whose name is reported to be Moin-ul-Haq belongs to Shillong. According to information, Mominul Haque of Laban confessed to have sent the email from a local cyber cafe.

Earlier, police claimed that they have identified the cyber cafe from which the e-mail, purportedly sent by Indian Mujahideen terrorists, to eliminate BJP leader L K Advani during his Shillong visit on September 29, was sent. The BJP has demanded a probe behind alleged death threat by Indian Mujahidin has said that the tour would go on as per schedule.
