Traditional community fishing at Longa Irrigation

A community fishing was carried out on Wednesday morning at Longa Irrigation River near Ramfalbill I Kokrajhar district which created an amusement among all sections of society since morning.

Hundreds of people from all walks of life thronged the River since early morning for fishing after the Longa Slice Irrigation opened the water through irrigtaion project.Peoples have fished out huge fishes like Borali,Magur,Bami,Kushia by Jakoi, Dura and some other fishing items which seemed like a festivity situation along the river.
