Daoharu Mungkhlong: Barhoongkha beat Kagrabari

Barhoongkha AC, Kokrajhar entered in the semi final defeating Kagrabari FC,Bhergaon,Udalguri 3-2 goals in the Daoharu Mungkhlong Football trophy being played at Dotma HS School ground in Kokrajhar on Tuesday.

In the third quarter final match on Tuesday, for Kagrabari FC,Joe netted first goal in 29th minutes of the first half against Barhoongkha. Bhaotina Brahma of Barhoongkha equalised the goal by scoring one goal within four minutes in 33th minutes and the match was 1-1 in the first half. Milan Basumatary of Barhoongkha again scored another goal in 48th minutes in the second half. Rashford of Kagrabari scored another goal in 51st minutes which had equalized. Birkwdao Basumatary of Barhoongkha netted third goal against Kagrabari in 76th minutes and won the match 3-2 goals which led the team to enter into semi final.

UA FC, Shillong will take on Salbagan FC, Gossaigaon in the fourth quarter final match on Wednesday.

Baksa: A brisk polling is underway in Kokrajhar and Chirang districts of BTR in the final phase of BTC polls on Thursday. Amid tight security and COVID19 protocol, the voters in Chirang district are waiting in long queue in front of the polling booths from 7 in the morning.
