7 army personnel dead in Tawang chopper crash

The seven deceased who died in the chopper crash in Arunachal Pradesh were army personnel when the helicopter carrying them crash landed on Thursday sending a shockwave across the country.

The incident  took placed at a remote place near Tawang early in the morning when the team was on a routine sortie to Tawang bordering China.

Arunachal Pradesh has been witnessing a few such chopper crashes for the last ten years and the victims include, Dorjee Khandu, the chief minister. Two years back, a deputy commissioner died in chopper crash.
