Biker dead in Raha accident

One person died another sustained serious injury when the bike which they were riding on collided on a truck from the backside in Nagaon district on Friday. 

The incident took place early in the morning on the National Highway in Raha. Eye witnesses told Assam Times that the bikers who were coming from the Guwahati side speedily hit the truck. 

“Both the truck and the two wheeler caught fire where one of the bikers died on the spot. We came to their rescue and the seriously injured one was rushed to the hospital,” said Saurav Kakoty who claimed to have seen  the accident. 

Another eyewitness Bashab Borthakur said,”the moment the bikers hit the truck, fire erupted to engulf it apart from the bike.”
