One dies of electrocution in Tangla

The electricity negligence has taken thr life of yet another person triggering anger and protest across the state on Tuesday. The incident took place at Samokuchi village in Tangla where the victim was treading near his paddy field. 

He was electrocuted as he landed at the plot in the afternoon where a 440 kv wire which was lying unattended He was rushed to Tangla CHC were he was declared brought dead. 

Talking to media persons D. Hazarika SDO(C) Bhergaon assured the family of ex-gratia compensation to the next kin of victim.
